Little Jess™ is one of the best performing Dianella in the market, with almost an entire decade of proven performance in a range of regions and climates.
Little Jess™ offers short, compact canes that won’t fall over like canes on other common Dianella caerulea. It’s one of the lowest maintenance plants that Ozbreed have to offer, only requiring a trim every 3-4 years in garden situations, or as little as every 8 years in roadside applications.
It’s perfect for borders and mass plantings, and has excellent heat and drought tolerance, with moderate cold tolerance. Ozbreed don’t recommend mass planting in colder regions such as Canberra, as it has been seen ti discolour in winter. However, it’s proven to survive and thrive in the heat of South Australia and Western Australia.
